Description
The Hanwha Decan L2 is an advanced pick & place machine that combines exceptional speed with a wide range of applications, specially designed for large-scale and versatile SMT production. With a double gantry and two 10-spindle heads, the Decan L2 achieves an impressive production speed of up to 92,000 components per hour, without compromising on precision or reliability.
The machine achieves an accuracy of ±28 micrometers for chips (Cpk ≥ 1.0) and ±30 micrometers for ICs, and supports component sizes from 03015 to 42 mm as standard, expandable to 75 mm with the MFOV option. The maximum component height is 10 mm with the fly camera and 15 mm with the fixed camera, making the Decan L2 suitable for a wide range of component types – from microchips to large connectors.
The Decan L2 stands out for its exceptional PCB capacity. In single-lane configuration, printed circuit boards up to 1,500 × 460 mm can be processed, while in dual-lane mode, 1,200 × 250 mm is possible. This makes the machine ideal for manufacturers of large or complex printed circuit boards, such as in the automotive, industrial electronics, or LED sectors.
The machine has 120 feeder positions (8 mm standard) on docking carts and offers features such as automatic feeder inspection, calibration, and data tracking. Thanks to the use of fly and fix cameras, the Decan L2 guarantees consistent placement quality at high speeds.
With a robust construction, energy consumption of 5.0 kVA, and air consumption of only 50 Nl/min, the Decan L2 offers excellent performance with low operating costs. The machine weighs approximately 1,800 kg and measures 1,430 × 1,740 × 1,485 mm, remaining compact despite its high capacity.
