Description
The SawPolish Unit combines sawing and polishing technology in a single process, allowing users to quickly and cleanly cut and polish samples. This system is designed to handle crimp contacts up to 60 mm² (1/0 AWG) or a maximum sample height of 20 mm (0.79″).
Versatile Materials and Applications
- Cuts copper, aluminum, steel, alloyed steel, stainless steel, titanium, bronze, brass, cast iron, gold, silver, inconel, nimonic, hastelloy, magnesium alloys, and plastics.
- Additional materials can be evaluated through sample processing.
Advanced Cutting and Polishing Process
- Interchangeable sample holder for optimal positioning.
- Aligned saw blade and polishing disc enable a seamless process, minimizing processing time.
- Carbide blades produce extremely clean cuts, often eliminating the need for polishing.
- Sample holder can be directly transferred to other analysis units.
Flexible for Various Applications
- Available in multiple blade widths for different sample sizes.
