Lecture on systems and methods for intelligent SMT / THT components storage and material handling.
Starting with an overview on standard storage methods, it is presented how intelligent storage management systems can increase the productivity of the lines, bring real traceability, and monitor humidity effectively, while reducing human mistakes and costs (all essentials points for calculating a realistic ROI). It is also described how Incoming operations can be improved through camera-based systems and unique indicators; a brief vision of present and future possibilities of software integration and how AGVs are the next step towards “Lights-Out” factories.

Op het Demoplein demonstreren we naast Storage Solutions ook daadwerkelijk de oplossing inclusief de AGV. Met de autonome mobiele robot automatiseren we ook de loopafstanden van operators en magazijnmedewerkers. Machines communiceren met elkaar en deze communicatie zorgt ervoor dat de juiste materialen op de juiste tijd bij de machine zijn. Op het Demoplein beweegt de robot tussen de Essegi Storage Robot (Storage Solutions) en de Ersa Selectief soldeermachine maar de robot kan natuurlijk ook een combinatie maken met andere processen in de productie.
