Smans NV expands and doubles floor area

Because of the growth of the last couple of years, there was an urgent need for extra space. Not only did the warehouse become too small, there was a strong desire to enlarge the showroom as well. Smans NV has bought new premises, which creates an extra 800 square metre floor area. Jan van Lieshout (CEO Smans NV): “It was necessary to buy the new premise in order to be able to keep growing. The building behind our current office came on sale at just the right moment. This was an opportunity we couldn’t pass over.”

 

Smans BV offers a wide reach of machines and tools for production of electronics as well as wire and cable. These capital goods are crucial to the customers of Smans NV. Smans NV strives to show the possibilities and impossibilities of the machines. That way, they are able to provide their customers with complete information. The best way to realise this is a live demonstration. During the purchase process Smans NV usually visits reference projects with their customers or gives demonstrations in their own showroom. During these demonstrations, the customer can test the machines with their own products, which is of course a great advantage. By expanding the showroom there will be more room for more machines. It will also become possible to provide more ‘in house’ workshops.
