        Description

        The P040 crimping press is available in two configurations:

        • Semi-automatic: For bench-top use.
        • Fully automatic: Integrated into a cutting and stripping machine.

        The press is compatible with all mini-applicators and applicators with a standard T-coupling, as well as two-post crimping devices with a coupling shaft diameter of 20 mm.

        Specifications

        • Crimp height: Standard 135.8 mm +/- 0.02 mm (measured from the applicator base plate to the press T-coupling at the bottom dead center).
          • Optional: A shaft coupling to adjust the crimp height to 212 mm for MSA crimp inserts.
        • Stroke: Standard 40 mm, with an optional adjustable stroke range of 20 to 40 mm (in 5 mm increments). Other stroke lengths are available upon request.
        • Motor: Self-braking electric motor for enhanced safety and precision.
        • Optional: Mecal’s CFA crimp force analyzer can be added for advanced quality control.

        • Reel arm
        • Foot switch
          All compliant with international safety standards and CE regulations.
