The KTR 5 is the smallest model from Komax featuring an open bundling head. This operator-controlled machine is ideal for taping wire harness lengths of 1.5 metres or more.

Thanks to its minimal installation space, the KTR 5 can be easily integrated into any production facility, and switching to other products is quick and easy. The special design of the bundling head cover means no additional safety hatch is required — during taping, only the wire feed remains open.

The infinitely variable roll feed ensures consistent overlaps, while constant tape tension and guidance guarantee wrinkle-free taping. Laying or adding long cable sets is quick and easy, and cable sets can be taped two to three times faster than with manual taping. An optional unwinding device is available, ensuring maximum flexibility whether using high-strength or thin tape.
