Description
The Hanwha Decan S2 has been developed for manufacturers who require a combination of speed, precision, and flexibility within their SMT production lines. Thanks to its dual gantry architecture with two 10-spindle heads, the machine offers an exceptional placement speed of up to 92,000 components per hour. Accuracy is ±28 micrometers for 03015 chips and ±30 micrometers for ICs, making the Decan S2 suitable for high-end electronics and fine-pitch components.
The machine supports a wide range of components, ranging from 03015 to 42 mm (standard) or up to 75 mm when using the MFOV option. The maximum component height is 10 mm with the fly camera or 15 mm with the fixed camera. Thanks to this versatility, the Decan S2 is suitable for a wide range of applications such as mobile devices, automotive electronics, telecommunications, and industrial PCBs.
The machine can be configured with a single or dual conveyor lane. In single-lane mode, printed circuit boards up to 1,500 x 460 mm can be processed, while dual-lane mode allows for up to 1,200 x 250 mm. With a feeder capacity of up to 120 8-mm positions, the Decan S2 offers efficient material handling for complex productions.
The Decan S2 is equipped with advanced features such as feeder calibration, automatic feed control, and integration of barcode and data management systems. Thanks to precise vision alignment with fly and fix cameras, the machine guarantees stable performance and consistent placement quality, even at high speeds.
With compact dimensions of 1,430 × 1,740 × 1,485 mm and a weight of approximately 1,800 kg, the Decan S2 combines high performance with space efficiency and ease of maintenance.
