Description
The UniStrip 2550 from Schleuniger is a powerful, compact automatic wire stripping machine for fast and accurate stripping of wires and cables from 0.03 to 6 mm² (AWG 32–10).
The machine comes standard with V-blades for a wide range of cable types, but can be easily adapted with radius, die, or special blades to support even more applications.
The operator can select the desired cable type from the internal library via the color touchscreen. All parameters—such as cutting depth, clamping pressure, blade distance, stripping length, and pulling length—are set automatically. This eliminates the need for mechanical adjustments when changing cable types.
The UniStrip 2550 starts automatically as soon as the wire touches the highly sensitive trigger sensor, or manually via an optional foot pedal.
With a cycle time of only 0.35 seconds, this model is ideal for series production. Thanks to the adjustable cutting and pulling speeds and programming options, complex stripping operations can be repeated and stored in the internal memory (up to 1,000 programs).
The machine is also equipped with LED lighting for optimal visibility of the work area and supports USB connectivity and barcode recognition for production integration.
