Description

The Schleuniger B440 is the top model in the B Series and has been specially developed for stripping complex coaxial and multiconductor cables. Thanks to its three-blade rotating cutting system, the machine achieves exceptional cutting accuracy, even with demanding materials such as Kapton®, silicone, PUR, PVC, Teflon®, Tefzel®, and textile jackets.

The B440 processes cable cross-sections from 0.05 to 70 mm² (AWG 30–2/0) and diameters up to 12 mm, with stripping lengths and pull-off lengths up to 50 mm.

The independently programmable blades and centering ensure perfect results, even with multi-layer cable constructions or coaxial cables with braided shielding.

With the new S.Drive B Series software and large 7″ color touchscreen, programming is easy and intuitive. The operator can adjust all parameters—cutting depth, clamping pressure, pulling force, blade opening, twist settings, and incising diameter—directly or save them in sequences for repeatable operations.

Thanks to features such as diameter recognition, cable end detection, and automatic cable retraction, the B440 offers maximum process reliability. In addition, no mechanical adjustment is required when changing cables, which minimizes setup time.

The machine is suitable for stand-alone operation or integration into automated production lines via the optional A/AC Automation Interface (I/O).
