The Europlacer iiFeeder is an efficient, user-friendly feeder designed for Europlacer ii-A1, ii-A2, and iineo+ machines. Its unique plow blade mechanism makes it possible to load cut tape as short as 1.5″ (38.1 mm) without needing a cover tape leader.

Components such as resistors, capacitors, and chips are packaged in small pockets on a long strip, known as component tape. This is normally loaded into the feeder on a full reel.

Cut tape is a cut-off piece of that tape, useful when you only need a limited number of components, for example for a prototype, a small production run, or when your components are supplied as a short strip instead of on a full reel. Normally, such a piece of tape first needs to be extended with an empty leader to pass through the feeder, which costs time and material (splicing). The iiFeeder eliminates the need for this.

Using it is remarkably simple: slide the tape into the feeder and place it on the cart, and the first component is immediately ready to be picked. There’s no more splicing involved, and the plow blade design means there’s no cover tape left to collect or remove.

Each kit comes with 4 Feeder Fingers and 1 Tape Push Tool. This compact blue tool helps push the tape through the sprocket holes onto the sprocket wheel during loading, making the process even smoother. The tool is included as standard with every kit, so it never needs to be purchased separately.
