Description
The Europlacer ii-A4 is the flagship for high-volume SMT production, developed for maximum speed without compromising on precision or versatility. Thanks to four independent X/Y gantries, each with a Pulsar pick head, the ii-A4 achieves an impressive placement speed of up to 104,000 components per hour. It effortlessly handles components ranging from 01005 to 13 × 13 × 7 mm, including QFPs, µBGAs, CSPs, QFNs, and other SMD components.
The system uses optimized placement trajectories and Europlacer’s Auto Adaptive Sequencing (AAS), which avoids collisions and maximizes efficiency. Combined with real-time Z-compensation (3DPS), this guarantees constant precision of up to ±22 µm for QFPs and ±50 µm for chips.
The ii-A4 offers a feeder capacity of 264 × 8 mm and supports PCBs up to 825 × 715 mm, with a maximum thickness of 10 mm and weight of up to 10 kg. The intelligent conveyor without mechanical stops automatically optimizes the position of each PCB, resulting in minimal waiting times and maximum output.
With intuitive ii-RC software, CFX 1.7 connectivity, and mobile ii-Tab integration, the ii-A4 fits seamlessly into modern automated production lines. Optionally, the machine can be equipped with electrical test modules, traceability solutions, glue dispensing systems, and rear camera options for even more control and speed.
