Description
The Hanwha SM 481 PLUS is a high-speed multifunctional placer that perfectly balances speed and precision. With a single gantry and 10 spindles, it achieves a placement speed of up to 40,000 CPH, ideal for production lines with high volumes and strict tolerances. Thanks to the fly-vision system, components are registered during movement, minimizing downtime and maximizing output.
The machine processes components ranging from 0402 chips to ICs and connectors of approximately 42 mm, with a height of up to 15 mm. It supports PCBs up to 460 × 400 mm as standard, expandable to 610 × 510 mm or even 1,500 mm for LED or backplane applications. The placement accuracy of ±40 µm (chips) and ±30 µm (QFPs) guarantees consistently high production quality, even with complex designs.
The SM 481 PLUS is also maintenance- and user-friendly. It is compatible with both electric and pneumatic feeders and therefore fits effortlessly into existing lines. With a power supply of 200–415 V (3-phase), a consumption of 4.7 kVA, and an air consumption of 0.5–0.7 MPa, it delivers powerful performance in a compact, robust housing measuring 1,650 × 1,680 × 1,530 mm and weighing 1,655 kg.
