Description
The Panasonic CM Leaderless Feeder Finger is designed for feeders compatible with Panasonic’s CM series pick-and-place machines.
When used on the Panasonic 8mm dual-track feeder, the CM Leaderless Feeder Finger can increase production capacity by up to 150%. This is achieved by significantly reducing feeder setup and changeover time. The operator loads tape strips as short as 1 inch (25.4 mm), or an entire reel, simply by pushing the tape into the feeder and placing it onto the pick-and-place or feeder cart. A tape leader is no longer needed.
The plow blade folds and creases the cover tape flat as it moves through the feeder. Eliminating the cover tape collection process reduces feeder jams and significantly lowers feeder maintenance costs.
