Description
The Mira 440 stripping machine is particularly suitable for processing multi-layer cables such as coaxial and triaxial cables as well as single-core and multi-core wires (*). (*) We recommend using sampling for wires that are difficult to process and wires at the limits of the specifications. (**) The maximum strip length is reduced by the length cut from the end. Rotating flat blades on the Mira 440 ensure an extremely smooth cut, which is particularly precise thanks to the integrated centering. Stripping coaxial cables very demanding i. Up to 9 conductor layers can be processed with the MIra 440. Several thin layers such as insulation, metal mesh, foil and dielectric are removed in just one process. This existing sequence processing is essential, especially for multi-core cables, coaxial, triaxial cables and hybrid cables. High productivity and reproducibility is possible with fast article selection from the library and optional barcode scanning (***). (***) In practice, production rate and cycle time depend on the settings and the operator’s experience. – Hand rest for better working – Different processing types for many wire types – Precise stripping of difficult wire types
